Every year, billions of plastic bottle caps find their way into the ocean, where they never fully biodegrade and wreak havoc on marine life. Seabirds, turtles, dolphins, and fish mistake these caps for food, leading to starvation, internal injuries, and death. With only 15-20% of bottle caps being recycled globally, the majority contribute to the 8-12 million metric tons of plastic entering our oceans annually.
