Listing Description

We are a PBO that is helping in the area of BLOUBERG
Registration number: 930022889

WHO
Big Bay Surf Lifesaving Club (BBSLC) is a registered PBO and was born in 1982. It was officially registered in 2006 and our current clubhouse was opened by Councillor Ian Neilson on 26th May 2007. The location of our clubhouse is undeniably the best in the country and perfectly suited to house the lifeguards that proudly patrol Big Bay beach. our lifeguards patrol the beach voluntarily from the first weekend in November until after the Easter weekend.
BBSLC also teaches and equips children with very important life-skills from as young as 4 (Micro Nipper). Not only does this training provide them with core skills required for future lifeguard training, but it also means that they are far more likely to responsibly enjoy the sea and beach for life.
We are heavily dependent on the kindness, generosity and support of individuals and businesses, as well as our own fundraising efforts, to continue to train future lifeguards and to continue to offer our service to the community.

PBO Exemption No: 930 022 889
Fundraising No: 066 00909 000
Please assist us in our journey to empower our future lifeguards.

WHY

We need to upgrade our lifesaving tower, It Is In shambles and the lifeguards spend most of their time there while scanning the beach/ ensuring safety of the public/ medical emergencies.
