Kuwane Foundation’s mission Is to develop communities and Implement developmental Initiatives that Improve people’s lives and livelihoods. The community Initiatives are aimed at addressing poverty targeting unemployed community members especially young people, women and people living with disability.

WHY

Kuwane Foundation addresses poverty and underdevelopment In the rural Eastern Cape. Joe Gqabi District, where Kuwane Foundation Is based Is the 10th poorest district In South Africa. High levels of unemployment drives high poverty levels. Most people depend on social grants.

WISHLIST

We would welcome volunteers In areas like fundraising, legal marketing, and financial management. Our needs Include, parkhomes, furniture, vehicle, computers, Internet, printers, seeds, seedlings, fertilizers, tractor and Implements, greenhouse tunnels, solar system.
